The story follows a puppet named Cheeky who wakes up to find himself in a steampunk era. As he sets out to find his master, he accidentally bumps into a performer named Lucas, breaking one of his arms. Cheeky then follows Lucas, and the two embark on an adventure together. Through their mutual influence, Lucas successfully performs on stage, while Cheeky overcomes his past traumas.
